Planning For this reading week task I chose a topic from the outline of the proposed book the topic that I chose was 'Chapter Narrative and Agency'. After I chose this topic I then looked at the research topic checklist and found a subtopic that fit in with my topic which is Ludonarrative Dissonance which is the conflict told through the story and the gameplay of the player. I then started to narrow the scope of my topic by looking at the Who, What, Where, When, Why of the topic which helped me a lot as I looked who was the playing the games where ludonarrative dissonance occurred, what happened to the game when they played it and what outcome it would have. I looked at where it would lead them in the game, I looked at when they played the game would their opinion change and decide on something else.
