Alpha

 Alpha

While working on the alpha of my website I have ran into some problems such as my player falling through the floor but managed to fix this by un clicking the Is Kinematic button the ground's Rigidbody. This helped greatly and I managed to solve the problem then, I ran into some other C# script problems but managed to get around them and get them all working together and fine which worked out greatly for my game and is working well at the minute.

My Own Unity Game

While trying to see the targets I'm a bit behind work wise and struggling a bit to get to meet the deadlines with the work I'm getting around to it and will need to catch up a bit and work some more but I'm in a good place at the minute and is working well.

  1. Hey Sam , I can see you are doing a first persons shooter ? I am doing one too and I found the camera positioning the most difficult :D, I thought I was going to go insane trying to make it work but I made it work with a few more tutorials..... I can see you made a FPS camera too which looks great ! I think you could maybe start adding a little more texture or something from assest store but over all I think it looks good.

  2. Hey Sam!
Your game is looking so good so far!
The camera angle is really good, definitely looks like a first person shooter game.
Maybe add in some backgrounds and texture to make the game look a bit nicer, but those are things that can be added in later, nothing to worry about when trying to get your game to work!
Best of luck with the rest of the process!

  3. Hey Sam, Your game is looking good man, fair play to you. It's great to see that you are running into problems but fixing them, which must feel very rewarding. The main thing is that you make the game the way you want it to be and be happy with the overall game mechanics because we are all new to unity, so do your best. The funnest part, in my opinion, is adding in all the different textures and character models to polish it off if you get the time. So Sam, I look forward to seeing the end result, best of luck with this.
