 Project Progress

This being the first week for the project that I will be working I first began a brainstorm of ideas of what I could do a VR game on. The first idea that came to mind was a poker game, as having a poker game with VR although it may be difficult to do I really like the idea and I believe that it can work and hope to be able to achieve it. My second idea is a fishing game or travelling game of sorts, as we know not everybody  is able to travel so imagine bringing the travel too them in their own home and being able to explore the world with your own pair of VR Headset. In this you could travel the world and explore different areas seeing at what there is, with the fishing it would be based off sorta Pokemon go in a sense being able to catch fish and having to travel to different spots being able to fish and relax. While this is only the thought process stage I am looking forward to getting started and to narrow down my ideas and get working on my idea and being able to start it in Unity.

 Beta This week on my project I have most of my visuals added and have my player movement fully working as well as my boundaries working well and are able to keep the player in the boundaries of the game as well and also while the boundaries took a while to complete there was satisfaction on completing them and getting them fully working. Ive also managed to complete my enemies script and have the player being chased by the enemies of the game as well which also I struggled with greatly and ran into a lot of problems such as the player not following the main player and tried videos on unity but non seemed to work and also referred back to the Unity Tutorial 4, I also looked at scripts online but just all together didn't work and just none seemed to work. I have the main bases of the game working such as the main camera following the player as well as the player being able to move. Alpha

 Alpha While working on the alpha of my website I have ran into some problems such as my player falling through the floor but managed to fix this by un clicking the Is Kinematic button the ground's Rigidbody. This helped greatly and I managed to solve the problem then, I ran into some other C# script problems but managed to get around them and get them all working together and fine which worked out greatly for my game and is working well at the minute. My Own Unity Game While trying to see the targets I'm a bit behind work wise and struggling a bit to get to meet the deadlines with the work I'm getting around to it and will need to catch up a bit and work some more but I'm in a good place at the minute and is working well.
