 Reading 11

For this weeks reading task we had to add our topic of the book to the one document where it could be tested and that the interactive elements actually worked. Then we had to make sure that all elements of the document we're complete and were working and ready. From here then we had to agree for our section of the book to be put into the final book. From working on the book for a fair few weeks I was happy at how my topic had come out and at how I had completed it and found the topic that I wrote about interesting to learn and enjoyed learning new facts each and everyday that I had worked on it.

 Introduction Post  My name is Samuel Carroll and I am twenty years old I am currently studying in TUD Blanchardstown and am in year two of Creative Digital Media. I enjoyed all my modules from year one but the one that I liked the most would have to be Design Process and Practice as I really enjoyed using Adobe Illustrator and enjoyed completing the different tasks that we were given each week and getting to learn more about Illustrator as the weeks went on. My favourite part of the module would have been the Film Poster assignment which we had to use the film we had chosen based off our website from Web Development in semester one. Alpha

 Alpha While working on the alpha of my website I have ran into some problems such as my player falling through the floor but managed to fix this by un clicking the Is Kinematic button the ground's Rigidbody. This helped greatly and I managed to solve the problem then, I ran into some other C# script problems but managed to get around them and get them all working together and fine which worked out greatly for my game and is working well at the minute. My Own Unity Game While trying to see the targets I'm a bit behind work wise and struggling a bit to get to meet the deadlines with the work I'm getting around to it and will need to catch up a bit and work some more but I'm in a good place at the minute and is working well.

 Beta This week on my project I have most of my visuals added and have my player movement fully working as well as my boundaries working well and are able to keep the player in the boundaries of the game as well and also while the boundaries took a while to complete there was satisfaction on completing them and getting them fully working. Ive also managed to complete my enemies script and have the player being chased by the enemies of the game as well which also I struggled with greatly and ran into a lot of problems such as the player not following the main player and tried videos on unity but non seemed to work and also referred back to the Unity Tutorial 4, I also looked at scripts online but just all together didn't work and just none seemed to work. I have the main bases of the game working such as the main camera following the player as well as the player being able to move. I also have the player being kept in the boundaries of the game which works well and I have my graphic
